Welcome to Predict a Score.com - Season 2007-08.

Most of you visiting this site will already be aware of what it's all about, however if you are new here, please read on to give yourself an idea of what you're letting yourself in for.

What is Predict a Score?

Predict a Score is an online football prediction game. This will be our 3rd season on the internet however the competition itself (or my version of it) has been running since 2001. It is hoping that season 2007-08 will be the biggest yet.

What do I have to do?

Simple. Predict the scores of 11 English football matches every week for the whole of the football season. You compete for honours against other players in both Overall and Monthly League competitions. For a complete list of what to do and how to do it, please visit the Rules page.

Who can play?

Anyone can play. Young or old, male or female, City or United. Everybody is welcome. It helps if you have a bit of football knowledge, but as proved last season even if you know nothing about football you can still do quite well. For those times you feel stuck visit the Links page for some handy websites to help you on your way.

How much does it cost?

It will cost you £10.00 to register. This will guarantee you entry into every competition Predict a Score.com has to offer you this season. Don't worry about not seeing your money again. Predict a Score.com does not make a profit from registrations. All monies raised through registration fees goes back out to the players in the form of prize money. All you've got to do to ensure you see it again is win something! Full prize money and what you need to achieve to win it will be revealed when the final number of players is known.

How do I register?

Just click on Register either here or at the top of the page. You will be asked to fill in some details about yourself and guided through making the payment (either by cheque or via Paypal). Once your registration details and payment have been received you will be uploaded to the site and you're good to go.

How do I send my predictions to you every week?

Again it's simple. Just use the online 'Submit' form found in the Predictions section of the website.

What if I decide to leave before the end of season?

Why would you want to do that? If you do decide you want to leave part way through the season then you are more than welcome to. You will NOT however receive a refund of your prize money. This will be kept in the pot for someone else to win. Your place will also remain open for you to come back to, or you may nominate a friend to take your place.
